To meet the shortage of teachers , the UGC directly at the global level for the first time has decided to recruit 1,000 teachers
Indian universities, the UGC will provide the salary of these teachers to be appointed .

The scheme recruits teachers from different countries of the world , related to tripartite agreement between the University and the UGC . Under the scheme, Assistant Professor and Professor at both positions will be recruited .
UGC salary to the teachers that come from abroad through recruitment will be provided . The UGC has launched the first phase of the plan . The teachers have been recruited so far is 104 .
